The genus Glossolepis is endemically found in New Guinea. A really attractive fish, which is quite easy to keep.
Johannes Graf presents this Glossolepis monograph, covering all of the species in the genus Glossolepis, their origins and ecology. He also has a nice map showing at least the starting points for some of the ranges of the different Glossolepis species. There is also some science in here that will help you to understand why a Glossolepis is separated from Melanotaenia or Chilatherina.
The booklet is written in three languages (German, English and Dutch), and features 72 full-colour photos which includes all of the species plus a selection of locale shots.
